Can You Hear Heaven Speak?

“The LORD is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.” – Psalms 145:18 

Hello WordPress Family!

Last night I received a message from Heaven.  I woke up to a, “Brooke, Broooooke” singing in my ear.  It was a woman’s voice and sounded beautiful.  As I awoke, I didn’t see anyone in my room, with an exception to my children whom had must’ve snuck in my room in the middle of the night.  But then, I heard and saw the words “1 Peter 3-5”.

I read the Bible daily, but I don’t have sections memorized nor did I know if there was a 1 Peter.  Maybe in my subconcious I did…I don’t know.  And if there was a 1 Peter, I certainly didn’t know if there was a chapter 3-5.  I was curious but not enough to get out of bed at 3am!  So, I fell back to sleep thinking about this and hoped that I would remember it in the morning when I got up out of bed.

After waking, feeding my children and myself, I opened up my Bible to the section I was given.  It did exist!  It was the part of the Bible where Peter writes to the Christians in Asia whom were suffering from persecution from pagan neighbors.  The chapters I was asked to read were: Chapter 3 For the Wives, For the Husbands, In Christian Charity, In Christian Suffering; Chapter 4 In Christian Faithfulness, Mutual Charity, Blessings of Persecution; Chapter 5 For the Ministry, Counsels to the Laity and Farewell.

My first question to myself, why would I be asked to read this?

Well, the day before I prayed to God to give me an answer as to how to live my life to it’s fullest and how to use my gifts to their fullest.  This reading was my answer from Him.

My second question, God truly is love, isn’t He?

He wants me to prosper and show me the way.  I just have to vigilant to hear His answers.  So grateful that I now know how to watch for answers.

Tomorrow I will write up how these chapters relate to my life.  Today, I would love to hear what you think about these chapters in the Bible and/or my experience or your experiences.
